Who wrote the information you are reading? Was it a medical professional? The author should be noted.
Where does this person work? Are they employed by a product manufacturer? Do they have a financial interest in selling you a product?
Was this information created for the site? If not, is reference given to the source of the information?
Who owns and maintains the site? The source of the information and sponsor should be clearly indicated.
How recently was the site updated? Is it current information?
If you cannot answer these questions about a specific site, you may want to look elsewhere for healthcare information.
