In addition to day-to-day responsibilities, many NWOS physicians hold leadership positions in various orthopaedic associations, serve as instructors in post-secondary settings, provide orthopaedic care to high school and collegiate athletic teams, and are involved in orthopaedic research studies and clinical trials.
