NWOS provides patients with 24-hour coverage for their orthopaedic emergencies. There is always an NWOS physician on-call who can be reached through our main number at (509) 344-BONE (2663).
When the office is closed, you will either reach the physician on call directly or our answering service will take your name and number. The physician on-call will telephone you as soon as possible, but he may be in emergency surgery so please be aware there may be some delay in returning your call. Also, this may not be your usual physician, so be prepared to answer some health history questions for the on-call physician, if needed. It is important that you keep your phone line free so the physician can reach you easily.
For general questions regarding your medications or prescriptions, please call during our regular office hours (Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.). All medication refills are offered during office hours.
