Jay Wojcik, M.D.

Dr. Jay Wojcik is a board-certified orthopedic hip and knee surgeon. He is fellowship-trained in Adult Reconstruction and specializes in primary, complex, and revision total hip and knee replacement. He offers minimally invasive surgical techniques such as anterior total hip replacement, partial and total knee replacement, outpatient joint replacement, and robotic-assisted surgery. He also treats patients for general trauma and fracture care. Dr. Wojcik joined Northwest Orthopaedic Specialists in 2023. Prior to joining NWOS, he was an orthopedic hip and knee surgeon with Lovelace Medical Group in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

After completing his Bachelor of Arts degree in Molecular Cellular and Developmental Biology at the University of Colorado - Boulder, Dr. Wojcik went on to obtain his medical degree from the University of Colorado School of Medicine. He then completed his residency training in Orthopedic Surgery at the University of New Mexico School of Medicine, Department of Orthopaedics and Rehabilitation in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Following his residency, Dr. Wojcik completed advanced fellowship training in Adult Reconstruction and Joint Replacement Surgery at Florida Orthopaedic Institute in Tampa, Florida. During his fellowship, he trained with renowned surgeons learning modern techniques in his specialty becoming proficient with less invasive approaches, state of the art technologies, and familiarity with protocols for outpatient surgery and accelerated recovery. Dr Wojcik has published and given presentations in joint replacement surgery; he emphasizes an individualized approach to each patient to help meet their goals of relieving pain and returning to a more active lifestyle.

In his spare time Dr Wojcik enjoys spending time with his friends and family, adventuring outdoors, hiking, biking, golfing and cooking.
